Scott grew up in a small community in rural Kanakakee County.  He attended Northern Illinois University and the University of Illinois where he studied Atmospheric  Science.  He spent 13 years as a part-time on-air meteorologist for WILL Radio in Urbana, IL.   

Scott has been married to his wife Susan since 1995 and they have a daughter Meghan. Scott loves spending his free time with his family and running on the roads of Champaign/Urbana.  On October 30, 2011 he ran his 10th marathon in Nairobi, Kenya for World Vision.

Before he came to Chesser Financial, Scott spent three and a half years as financial counselor, he also lead financial literacy programs throughout Champaign County. Scott is a Dave Ramsey Certified Financial Counselor.  Scott Joined Chesser Financial in August of 2010 as an assistant to Jamie Chesser.

During the late summer of 2011 Scott, became an independent agent of Chesser Financial. Scott is a Series 7 Registered Representative with The O.N. Equity Sales Company, Member FINRA/SIPC.

One of Scott's passions is to help people become better manager's of the resources they've been given.
